Today my path shined bright.
Step by step it was layed in front of me. Work flowed smoothly, I received uplifting calls, media posts and text…That reinforced my passion, fire, drive and dedication to where my path is leading.
It’s those moments, when you think you’re treading water, it becomes clear, you’re already half way across the lake and a few more people just jumped in, because you had the courage, energy, fortitude or determination to move forward one step, one path at a time…
It was a good day!
You may never know whether you’re about to inspire or be inspired!
Some people follow a path. Others meander and follow multiple paths. Only you will know which path(s) are meant for you and when you’ll step upon the right one.
Listen to your heart and stay in the moment each day and live life with a passion and meaning!

You never know where your path may lead…..
The morning chirp of your alarm goes off, you stare at the ceiling replaying the idea of, not today! Over and over….
Just know each day, God has a different path, unique to each of us. We need to have faith to follow that path and embrace the chirp of each day.
Everyone has different goals, priorities, lifestyles and ambitions not to mention some work schedules make scheduling tons of gym time extremely difficult.
My work schedule is pretty crazy right now working 70+hr weeks but health and fitness are my Passion…..Ambition… and Lifestyle so this is where I spend my extra hours in the day.
Once kids and family comes into the equation, health and fitness will still be a priority but family will take a piece of that pie away and I’ll gladly be ready to slice it up and give up that piece wholeheartedly! ๐ค
My older brother Eric and his wife ย are prime examples and role models of how to be amazing parents (2daughters, both in multiple after school activities as well!) and have a crazy work schedule and still find time for health and fitness!! Shout out guys ๐ช๐
Find what works for you and stick with it!
Here’s my current outline for getting my body composition down to under 10% ย I move a few things up and down according to the day and workout but basically what I consume in a day
My favorite way to sneak my cardio in is when the Twinkies are playing! 10minutes to an hour, it flys by when youre distracted. Especially when theyre winning!
Snap out of the mindset that 10-20-30 mins of cardio isn’t gonna do anything, “next” time when i have “more” time.
10 min today turns into an hour down the road!
Climb that “cardio hill” once you start enjoying it…. It opens so many doors for your body,mind and soul!

For those of you who have kids, are serial snooze button pushers or just don’t like cooking in the morning………… A basic muffin tin and a few ingredients of your choosing is your problem solver!
Grab some eggs, 2-3 of your favorite ingredients (in my case, about 6 ingredients) and mix, pour into the muffin tins and sit back for 15-30min depending on recipe, relax and watch your new way of eating breakfast rise before your eyes!
It’s delicious, fast and simple. So get that metabolism working in your favor, pretty soon you’ll be excited for that alarm! Google is your friend! Just google muffin tin breakfast or anything similar!
Remember, your body needs fuel for the workday ahead of you, you can’t drive without gas so why leave the house without breakfast!

As for many on this gorgeous weekend, cheat meals are plentiful! If you’re within a mile or two of the gym walk or jog there instead of drive, ย or even just go to the gym for a bit before hitting the lake and grilling or finding that perfect patio.
Slow down and enjoy a little of God’s country today!
And remember…..Water, water water ๐

Life’s a rollercoaster…..
I’ve always been pationate about sports, being in good shape, physically active and health conscious. The latter is officially my number one priority and passion to date as it has been for the last 5yrs or so. ย This is where the rollercoaster comes in!
Starting your health and wellness journey is a climb in itself. Where to start? What to eat? Exercises… how, when, where and what are those? There’s many different hills and personal battle to climb and conquer. Best way, start with one. Then another one. Then another! Too many people get caught up thinking too far ahead, focus on the smallest first step, gym shoes, a path to run on, a friend to run with. Let it snowball forward on it’s on and before you know it, it’ll be 6months down the road and you’ll be thinking that wasn’t so hard and I actually enjoy the new routine I’ve started.
Start small, let your health and fitness path snowball ahead for you!
I have been the prime example of a rollercoaster, it’s not always easy and sometimes you get lost! I’m a person who enjoys fitness and takes food to a personal and passionate level, I enjoy cooking and it is an escape for me, that’s an advantage I have, some people hate cooking, but with a little help it can be quick and easy and bareable for you maybe eventually grown on you!
Over the past 5 years I have went from 7%body fat back up to 25% body fat a half a dozen times. I usually run into a 6month rut where there’s one too many fun events, weddings, bdays or vacations and then you say to yourself after this next one we’ll get back at it. Before you know it you’re 15lbs heavier lost your cardio and don’t have the pep you used to, more tired and less motivated.
This is where I learned maybe that extra party isn’t for you, maybe drinking isn’t for you, maybe it’s friends, maybe it’s your shopping…. 9 out of 10 times it’s that one small thing staring you right in the face! If it’s proportionately unhealthy, or someone/something doesn’t help you become a better version of yourself….?
Best advice, find your health buddy! Someone you can hold responsible and vice versa, don’t let a small foolish thing stand in the way of your health,well-being and d happiness!
